Lesson 2
How to Start Strong
3 MinutesThink about your proposal in 3 segments: introduction, body, and the closing. In the Introduction you are to tell them what you are about to tell them. The body is tell them. The closing is tell them what you told them. The most important of these three is the introduction. If you can’t grab their attention here, you are unlikely to grab it later. The Strong Start details what to include and what to avoid in the first thirty seconds of the presentation.
